Hot-dipped galvanized (HDG) hex lag bolts
A Hot Dipped Galvanized (HDG) Hex Lag Screw is a corrosion-resistant fastener coated through a hot-dip galvanizing process, making it the preferred choice for exterior and high-moisture wood fastening applications.
Also known as an “HDG hex lag bolt” or “HDG lag bolt,” hex lag screws have a flat bearing surface, a hexagonal head, a fully or partially threaded shank with coarse, wood-gripping threads, and a pointed tip. Their six-sided heads allow easy tightening with standard wrenches and sockets, and the thick galvanized coating provides long-lasting protection in outdoor and harsh environments.
Available sizes: 1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″, 1/2″, and 5/8″.
