Zinc kep locknuts

A Zinc Kep Locknut is a light-duty fastener with a zinc-plated finish suited for dry, indoor fastening applications where vibration resistance and simplified installation are needed but heavy corrosion protection is not required.

Kep locknuts have a six-sided nut body with a free-spinning, serrated K-washer permanently attached to the bearing face, designed to lock against the mating surface and resist loosening from vibration. Their six-sided body allows for easy tightening with standard wrenches and sockets, and the zinc plating provides basic corrosion protection for general-purpose interior assemblies.
