Zinc nylon insert locknuts

A Zinc Nylon Insert Locknut is a light-duty fastener with a zinc-plated finish suited for dry, indoor fastening applications where vibration resistance is needed but heavy corrosion protection or high-strength performance is not required.

Nylon insert locknuts have a six-sided nut body with a nylon collar permanently embedded in the top of the nut, designed to grip the threads of a mating bolt or rod and resist loosening from vibration without damaging the fastener. Their six-sided body allows for easy tightening with standard wrenches and sockets, and the zinc plating provides basic corrosion protection for general-purpose interior assemblies.
