Hex Lag Bolts
Hex lag screws, or hex lag bolts, are available in Hot-Dipped Galvanized (HDG), Stainless Steel 18-8, and Zinc fasteners. These fasteners have a flat bearing surface, a hexagonal head, and a fully threaded or partially threaded shank with coarse, wood-gripping threads and a pointed tip.
Also known as “lag bolts,” “hex lag bolts,” or “lag screws,” these fasteners are among the most heavy-duty wood fasteners available. Their six-sided head allows for easy tightening with standard wrenches and sockets, making them the preferred choice for high-strength connections in timber framing, decking, and structural wood construction.
