Zinc carriage bolts
Zinc Carriage Bolt is a plated steel fastener often used indoors or in lighter-duty applications in non-corrosive environments. Zinc fasteners are a less expensive, more cost-effective option than hot-dipped galvanized or stainless steel alternatives.
Carriage bolts have a smooth mushroom head, a square section immediately below, and a partially-threaded circular shank cross-section. Other names for Carriage Bolts include “plow bolts” and “coach bolts,” as the construction of carriages and carriage wheels popularized these fasteners.
Available sizes: 1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″, and 1/2″.
